Venise Vinegar, a native of Los Angeles, California, began her career in the entertainment industry with an entry-level position. This opportunity paved the way for a dream career at Fortune 500 studios such as DreamWorks, Paramount Pictures, Fox Studios, and The Walt Disney Company.
Following an unforeseen job loss later in life, she transformed her quest for new meaningful work into an educational sabbatical to adapt to her new reality. She embarked on an intensive journey of self-discovery, delving deep into personal and career development from a holistic and psychological perspective. She was not alone in her journey, and the transformative best practices and timeless wisdom she acquired about uncovering passion, purpose, and ideal careers became invaluable insights she was eager to share with others on similar paths.
She saw her job loss as a sign of divine intervention, a nudge towards a different path where she was needed somewhere else to do something else. Embracing this new direction, volunteer work led to a trip South Africa. This trip became a spiritual awakening, marked by a series of enlightening light bulb realizations. She harnessed her untapped passion for teaching and her dormant natural talents for research and content creation, paving the way for an encore dream career.
The concept of compiling 365 days of best practices into a book was one of her lightbulb moments. She dedicated herself to this endeavor in 2019. The lockdown during the COVID Pandemic in 2020 provided her with the chance to remain intensely focused on her book. By 2021, she had finished a rough draft of the manuscript for “YOUR PASSION IS YOUR PURPOSE.” 2022 was a year of downtime due to other personal life changing events.
Venise passionately believes in synchronicity, divine timing, and alignment. In 2023, a close friend contacted Amazon, and when they expressed interest in her manuscript, she was prepared to proceed. Her years of perseverance, resilience, and dedication to her guiding vision, no matter what, opened the door to endless opportunities and the beginning of a new chapter as a debut author.
She is dedicated to sharing profound practical strategies, impactful daily mindset shifts, small habit modifications and lessons in personal and professional self-improvement that are efficient, effective and drive results. What language and words do you use to share your experiences and emotions with others?
Language is a method of human communication, either spoken or written. It is the use of words in a structured and conventional way. It is an exceedingly powerful tool that shapes your behavior and is filled with personal meaning.
Whether you communicate verbally or in written form, the way you express yourself will affect whether your message is received positively or negatively. Even when you are conveying unpleasant news, the impact can be softened using language and a tone that is positive and nurturing, whether you are communicating with clients/customers, staff, co-workers, friends, and family.
Words spoken in the wrong way can lead to conflict, lower confidence, and even crush a career. Language and vocabulary have the power to alter emotions. Words and language that are mindfully composed to express a thought and feeling will create positive, actionable change in the quality of your life and the lives of others.
When you understand the power of how your thoughts, your spoken or written words, and the language you use can accelerate your career, you will guard them more closely. Once words are said, they can be forgiven, but they are never forgotten.
